This year's  programme will comprise of a typically powerful  keynote paper, a  significant owner presentation and will include nine highly  specific  forums, revolving around all of the key facets of a large-yacht   project. Barry Gilmour, the Chairman of Burness Corlett &  Partners, will  start the proceedings with his Keynote Paper entitled   Delivering What  Client Wants, not what someone thinks he wants?   and will discuss the role  of concept and interior designers and,  where appropriate, highlight any lack  for discipline that has  subsequent impacts on cost and manufacture. On the  third day, Bill  Joy (chief scientist and founder of Sun Microsystems and  creator of  Java) will present his new sailing yacht project - the S.Y.    Ethereal. With such a strong emphasis on renewable sources,  energy  efficiency and an overwhelming desire to sail the oceans with  minimal  environmental impact, this project will in theory awaken the  senses and  responsibilities. As a primarily green ship, natural  materials for  environmental consideration and designed to operate  with complete silent  running an minimal power requirements, it  promises to blaze a few trails.
